Right Number: (An Emily Abbott Short Story)

 Christmas / 185 views / Popular

Emily’s cousin, Beth and friend, Izzy bring Christmas to her apartment even though it’s August and over 100 degrees. Brent has disappeared and Emily hasn’t been able to reach him by phone for several weeks. She guesses he’s off on an assignment and can’t make contact for safety reasons… or can he?

This short story takes place a few weeks after the end of Book 6, Once Upon a Dime and before Book 7, Five Star Spy.

This is a very short vignette of 5,000 words and will take the average reader approximately 20 minutes to complete. It was originally published on the author’s blog.
