After that, check for previously listed books under Manage Listings. Simply edit and resubmit if you’re running sales on any books you added last year. Running sales on new books? Add them following the instructions in step 2 below.
1. New Authors! Create an Account
Click Account in the author menu at the top of the site. Fill out the form to create your account.
2. Go to user dashboard
Click Add New Listing.
3. Fill in book details
Select genre category. Add book title. If your book is part of a series, title it in this format: The Kitten Files, #1: The Case of the Tabloid Tattler. (Listing the series title first will ensure your series books sort together on shopping pages, and the number will keep your books in the correct order. We want a consistent shopping experience for our potential readers!) Add ebook link. If the link contains ref= delete that part and everything following it. Paperback sales are optional. If you will be selling and fulfilling paperback orders, paste the purchase link here. (See note at end of tutorial about paperback sales.)
Tick the box for the content rating that best describes your book, according to this rating system: https://mybookcave.com/mybookratings/meet-the-ratings/. Add the author name as it appears on the cover (pen names welcome). Paste in the book’s description.
Upload your cover image. Add your ebook price: either 0.00 or 0.99. Read the short agreement at the bottom of the page, check the I agree box, and click Place Listing.
Your listing may need approval before it goes live on the site. Feel free to continue adding additional books from the User Dashboard. If you need to edit a listing, you can do so from the Manage Listings section of your dashboard.
